Everbuild Tecnic 300 Fire Sealant Intumescent Acrylic Sealant is a five hour rated, one part, emulsion acrylic based, intumescent sealant that gives a firm yet flexible (+/- 12.5%) seal to joints in a variety of fire rated structures. Everbuild Tecnic 300 Fire Sealant, is designed for sealing joints, voids and irregular holes in fire walls, partitions and other structures up to 50mm wide this intumescent acrylic sealant can also be used around pipes and cables that penetrate these structures to protect their integrity. Unlike traditional sealants when exposed to heat this sealant swells to greater than three times it's original size, resisting the passage of fire for up to five hours. Once dried Tecnic 300 Fire Rated Sealant can be over painted if required. An additional benifit of Tecnic 300 has excellent acoustic properties with a average noise reduction of 29dB. Tested in accordance with BS EN 1366-4:2006, BS EN ISO 140/3:2005, EN13141-1 and BS EN 1366-3:2009.
